Old Chicago Pizza Taproom invites the Triangle community to celebrate the opening of its first restaurant in the Carolinas, located in downtown Chapel Hill at 140 West Franklin Street, with a special grand opening celebration on Thursday, March 20. Festivities will include free pizza for a year to the first 76 customers that line up at the new restaurant in advance of its 11 a.m. ribbon cutting.
The community is also invited to join Old Chicago in supporting Farmer Foodshare, a nonprofit group connecting hungry families with local farming communities, with a basketball free-throw event at 10 a.m. outside the restaurant. In tribute to the first Old Chicago restaurant opened in 1976, Old Chicago will donate $76 to Farmer Foodshare for each free throw that makes it in the basket.
Join us for our 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Event: Old Chicago Beer & Pizza Pairing.
