The Live and Local, Music and Art on the Plaza continues its spring series in partnership with the 2nd Friday Art walk. Justin Tornow and COMPANY will present a site specific movement installation.

Justin Tornow is an NC native currently living in Durham, NC. She is the artistic director of COMPANY, an independent choreographer, a producer of the local artist series PROMPTS, and a co-collaborator with Julia Edwards on a project called MOVEable. Justin's work has been presented in the GSO Fringe Festival, Dances for a Small Space, DUMBO Dance Festival, CoolNY Festival, 2012 Philly Fringe, and the NC Dance Festival (among others.) Justin was co-founder and director of the non-profit arts collective [project incite] in Charlotte, NC from 2005-2007.  In 2010, Justin received an MFA in Choreography from UNC-Greensboro; she then enjoyed moving back and forth from NC to NYC to live and work until deciding to settle down in Durham, NC in June 2013. Justin is currently an adjunct teaching artist at UNC-Greensboro, an instructor at Ninth Street Dance in Durham, NC and a member of the Black Box Dance Theater company in Raleigh, NC.
